BRIEF HISTORY OF OZONE ATELIERS
In the vibrant tapestry of fashion, OZONE ATELIERS (formerly Earleans Haut Monde) emerged as a dream nurtured into reality by visionary founder, Ikotun Olutola. It all began with a passion for storytelling through stitches and a desire to create a fashion haven where every individual could be the hero of their style journey.
Founded in 2006, OZONE ATELIERS formally known as Earleans fashion school was born from a love for the art of craftsmanship and a deep appreciation for the transformative power of fashion. Inspired by the enchanting allure of fairy tales, the brand took its first steps, infusing magic into the very fabric of its creations.
From humble beginnings in shop 58, Gbaremu market, Sango Eleyele road, Ibadan, Earleans Haut Monde quickly gained recognition for its meticulously handmade outfits, each one crafted with love and dedication. The brand’s commitment to empowering individuals to own their world with confidence became the driving force behind its journey and has since movef to shop T6, Army complex beside Oyo state police headquarters, Ibadan.
In 2006, as if fated by the stars, the brand’s origin coincided with the academic hiatus caused by the ASUU strike of 2006 at federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. In those moments of uncertainty and silence, the visionary founder, Ikotun Olutola, found herself immersed in a world of stitches and dreams. The unexpected break became an opportunity to transform, and the concept of OZONE ATELIERS took root.
The commitment to meticulously handmade outfits, crafted with love, became a beacon of light during a time of uncertainty. What began as a response to a temporary academic disruption soon evolved into a full-fledged fashion sanctuary, offering an alternative narrative through stitches and styles.
As the ASUU strike gradually ended, OZONE ATELIERS had already woven itself into the fabric of the fashion scene. The enchanting tales told through each piece resonated with individuals seeking more than just garments – they sought a connection to the transformative narratives embedded in the brand’s creations.
Over the years, OZONE ATELIERS has evolved, reaching far beyond the initial university setting. Yet, the story of its inception during the ASUU strike of 2006 remains an integral part of its history, a testament to the brand’s resilience and ability to turn moments of disruption into opportunities for creativity, empowerment, and the artistry of fashion.
